10/10/10: Geocaching Rekordversuch

Lasst uns feiern!! 🙂

Plan to Go Geocaching on 10-10-10
We want to see how many geocachers can go geocaching on a single day! We’ve chosen 10-10-10, since the date represents 10 years of geocaching and 10 years of Groundspeak in 2010. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your worst enemy (if that’s what it takes) and let’s see if we can beat the previous record of 56,654 accounts logging on April 18, 2010. Even one log counts since we are counting how many accounts log a cache rather than the number of caches logged.

Mehr Infos gibts auf Latitude 47

Update 2010/10/10:

Yeaahh! 10 Logs am 10/10/10! 🙂

I have found a covo loco cache and would like to place one myself. How do I register a number? I am an english speaker and have problems finding info on the site. Thanks in advance

hi bonky frog, you do not have to register to hide a covo loco.
just get out and hide a nice cache in a beautiful or interesting area! 😉

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
